Scott Westerfeld and Justine Larbalestier‘s THE MORTONS Publishers Deluxde satışı duyuruldu

17 Eylül 2024 tarihli Publishers Lunch Deluxe'de Scott Westerfeld and Justine Larbalestier‘den THE MORTONS'un son haberler listesinde açık arttırmayla Kuzey Amerika yayın haklarının Pamela Dorman Books'a verildiği duyurusunu gördüm.

Among the latest reports:

Jasmine Mas‘s BLOOD OF HERCULES and BONDS OF HERCULES, a reimagining of Hercules set in a dystopian world where Spartans have godlike power and rule over all, to Canary Street, in a major deal, in a seven-figure deal, in a three-book deal.

Alessandra Ranelli‘s MURDER AT THE HOTEL ORIENT, a contemporary mystery with a Golden Age feel in which a concierge solves a locked-room murder at Vienna’s infamous Hotel Orient, inspired by the real "love hotel" where no cameras are allowed, no names are given, and every anonymous guest has something to hide, to Scout Press, in a major deal, in a pre-empt, in a two-book deal.

Cynthia Gomez‘s MUNECA, a queer, Latine novel set in 1960s Oakland, about a working-class witch who sets out to rescue a bespelled heiress to Spanish colonial wealth and loses control of her powers and her heart in the process, exploring misogyny, racial hierarchy, and the kinship of found families, to Putnam, at auction.

Author of the YA Uglies series Scott Westerfeld and Justine Larbalestier‘s THE MORTONS, a joint adult debut following a modern-day, old-money crime family for whom homicide is heritage, and the consequences of their twisted intergenerational dramas that emerge as the family contends with ever-shifting alliances, power, loyalty, kinship, and love, to Pamela Dorman Books, at auction.

Melissa Pace‘s THE ONCE AND FUTURE ME, about a young woman who wakes with no memory in a 1954 mental hospital and, as disturbing visions of the future begin filtering into her reality, must learn if she’s really the delusional schizophrenic doctors say she is—or something else entirely, to Holt, in a pre-empt.
