MCPG PUBLICITY EVENT!

Photo from Publishers Weekly

Neal Porter (right) and Stephen Savage did an awesome event for Savage’s Supertruck! They spoke about the process of creating the book, complete with a demonstration of how the snow was created (hint: it involves dried cranberries!).

NYC Department of Sanitation Commissioner Kathryn Garcia joined the event to read Supertruck to a room packed with kids and parents – and she gave Steve and Neal Sanitation Department vents (honorary only, we hope…).

Supertruck has received six starred reviews!
